Gaston Merideth is a United States Coast Guard Veteran Culinary Specialist, award-winning Certified Executive Chef (CEC) and CEO of Gaston’s Culinary Services, one of Tampa’s most highly recognized and sought after catering companies. Top 10 Catering Companies as recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal 2017, Tampa Bay Times Catering Company of the Year 2018, and Top 5% Caterers in the Nation by Wedding Wire five times over, most
recently in 2023.
Gaston’s is a leader in the industry and has received several awards and recognition,
including Chef of the Year for Restaurants Guide International 2023, Chef of the Year
2020, and Member of the Year 2022, American Culinary Federation Tampa Bay 2020. In July 2024 Gaston received the Cutting Edge Award for the crafting of Chef G’s Florida BarBQ Sauces.

Victor Young is the Founder & CEO of Dunamis Premium Spirits, a helicopter pilot, futurist and thought leader for several companies with revenues over five-billion dollars annually. Young reached another lofty goal by creating a masterful blend of Double Gold Medal award winning spirits. Young quickly realized that the rich flavor profile and balance of his Dunamis Interstellar Bourbon was worthy of making its way into a chef's kitchen so he reached out to Chef Gaston Merideth to begin the creation of the Dunamis Interstellar Bourbon BarBQ sauce that we celebrate and enjoy today.
Merideth and Young recognized that a union of their professional and creative talents would lead to high quality recipes that deserved to be shared around the world. Co-Founders Gaston Merideth and Victor Young recognized that a union of their professional and creative talents would lead to high quality recipes that deserve to be shared around the world. And so it was, two experienced creators united to form Florida BBQ Sauce Co., Florida's first BBQ Sauce company to use ingredients from our great State of Florida to produce a natural Florida Style BBQ Sauce. Kansas and North Carolina are now on notice. Florida is the new kid on the sauce block.
